Different abortion argument
Dr Mohler has a good article on the changing abortion argument employed by some of today’s Christians. He’s right on!

Sound familiar? Bad economy, charismatic leader, a nation of sheep. Where have I heard that before. Starts with 3 and ends with “rd Reich.” Hope I am wrong.
Looks like at least some of Europe is not under the spell of The One. I wonder if it will really be this bad. There sure is the potential for it. I have to remember that God is in control and am very thankful for that. I’d go nuts otherwise.
Or vote against it on November 4. Looks like more evidence crept up displaying Obama as a socialist, as if more evidence was needed, on WorldNetDaily.com and Doug Groothuis’ Constructive Curmudgeon. How can people be so blind? Lost people, sure, but Christians?
One argument I hear quite often is that since there was no legislative progress against abortion under the Republican government, and since abortions haven’t decreased, it’s okay to vote for Obama. Besides this being a really lame and stupid argument (“Oh I know slavery is bad, but since there has been no progress to make it illegal in the last 30 years, I will vote for the guy who gives it every legal protection possible. We will then educate the white man to bring down the number of slaves he owns.”), it’s also false. You are subscribed to the Public Discourse, no?
Go grab it! It’s at http://www.thepublicdiscourse.com/publicdiscourse.xml
Another well-written article from The Public Discourse. If you aren’t checking it periodically, you should; and shame on you for not doing so already.
Hope I am okay posting these here. Got them from townhall.com.

Literary gold coming out of The Public Discourse by the Witherspoon Institute (still waiting for the RSS feed so I don’t have to manually check it). This one is on Obama and Infanticide.
I can’t help but picture my newborn son every time I hear of babies left to die in some closet, and it makes me want to cry. How can anyone be so hard-hearted? I pray this guy won’t make it into the White House.
