Ultimate Guys Weekend!

Every year the BSU makes a trip to a ranch by Tulsa for the UGW, the Ultimate Guys Weekend. On the agenda are four-wheelers, bonfires, self-cooked meals, and automatic weapons.

I had never gone before this year but it was really a blast! Hosted by an ex-Marine officer we just have a good time being guys. The gun and rifle highlights were a HK MP5, a WWII Sten and a Tommy gun (you know, gangsters and such).

We also had a AK-74 (not 47). It wasn’t an automatic, but still pretty cool. Ammo had to be ordered straight from Russia :) Here’s a little picture of me shooting it:

There’s someone else shooting some .45 pistol, I think it’s a Colt.

Here’s a small selection of guns and rifles. The MP5 is in the front left, the Sten next to it and the Thompson on the right. There’s a Glock 19 top left with a custom laser-sight on the handle which I really enjoyed shooting, and a bunch of .45 pistols scattered around. We also had some M-16 and M-14 I think.
Gun variety

Riding a four-wheeler was really fun! I didn’t take it on any sweet jumps, but some of the other guys did and got some good air! I am really looking forward to doing this again sometime.

All that was topped off with a nice 12 feet bonfire started with a little bit of gasoline – the Man way!
